SCOPE OF WORK:

• Calibration of various precise measuring instruments, including but not limited to mass, volume, torque, dimensional, temperature, pressure and electrical equipment.

• Work in one of our metrology departments under the supervision on the section team leader.

• Service and repair to various measuring equipment.

• Complete calibration reports using various digital platforms.

• Electronic repairs of test and measurement equipment in NWI laboratory.

ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS:

• Tertiary qualification in physics or similar science-based fields.

• High commitment to safety and quality.

• Ability to work in a small, hard-working team environment.

• Be physically fit and efficient using a PC to complete calibration reports.

• Strong communication skills.

• Eligibility to work in Australia.

DESIREABLE REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor's degree

• Previous experience in calibration.

• Knowledge of measurement uncertainty.

• Knowledge of NATA and ISO/IEC17025.
