St Mary’s Anglican Girls’ School is an independent day and boarding school for over 1500 girls from Kindergarten to Year 12. We provide girls with opportunities to pursue personal and academic excellence in a respectful and supportive environment.

We are looking for a part-time Food Prep and Hygiene Assistant to join our team. The Assistants are responsible for the cleanliness of food workspaces and storage, as well as the preparation of food and equipment for class demonstrations and practical lessons by academic staff.

The successful applicant will have:

• A strong commitment and satisfaction in maintaining the highest levels of cleanliness and hygiene for food preparation workspaces

• An understanding and interest in food technology, preparing food and setting up rooms with food and equipment for classes.

• Ability to follow a schedule, prioritise tasks and work under pressure.

• A knowledge of food hygiene and occupational health and safety. 

• Experience and a good working knowledge of Microsoft Office programs. 

Relevant experience in the education sector is desirable but not essential.

This is a part-time role working term-time only. It is envisaged that the successful applicant will work 2 consecutive days per week during school term. Applicant must be available to work full days 8am to 4pm.
