We’re seeking an experienced Laboratory Technician to support a significant Snowy Mountains infrastructure project.

About the Role

• Conduct air monitoring and sample analysis

• Undertake laboratory-based asbestos identification

• Maintain and calibrate monitoring equipment

• Support quality systems and laboratory compliance

• Prepare technical documentation and reports

• Collaborate with project teams and stakeholders

About You

• 3+ years’ experience in laboratory, environmental or occupational hygiene roles

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

• High attention to detail and quality standards

• Confident communicator with a team-oriented mindset

• Comfortable working in both lab and physically demanding field environments

Desirable

• Science or related qualification

• Experience with accredited laboratory systems (e.g. ISO/NATA)

• Knowledge of PCM/PLM techniques

• Relevant industry memberships or certifications

Requirements

• Australian working rights (no restriction)

• Driver’s licence

• Ability to work on a DIDO roster
