We are growing fast and building a delivery team to match. This is a contract role with real volume and a long-term path for the right person.

THE ROLE

We are looking for an experienced Network & ICT Technician to join our delivery team on a contract basis. You will be responsible for on-site installation, configuration, and handover of cloud phone systems, NBN connections, and associated networking equipment at customer premises across Metro Melbourne.

This is a per-job contract engagement. Regional Victoria jobs are available with additional fuel compensation.

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING

• Installing and configuring cloud-based phone systems at customer sites — handsets, base stations, cabling, and network registration

• Setting up and commissioning NBN connections including NTD validation, router configuration, and WAN testing

• Configuring routers, PoE switches, and structured cabling

• Registering and testing IP handsets, confirming inbound/outbound call flow, voicemail, and transfer functions

• Completing site audits prior to installation and identifying any infrastructure or scope discrepancies

• Conducting customer handover and basic training on new equipment

• Photographing and documenting all installed equipment

• Completing sign-off forms and reporting back to the Provisioning Manager upon job completion

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

Essential — you need these to be considered:

• Hands-on experience with on-premise phone systems — LG IPECS, Avaya, NEC, Panasonic, or similar PABX platforms

• Solid understanding of IP networking — IP addressing, DHCP, VLANs, and basic switching

• Experience with NBN technologies — FTTP, FTTC, FTTN — and NTD/modem installation

• Comfortable working independently on customer sites with minimal supervision

• Reliable, punctual, and professional — you represent Complete ICT on site

• Valid Australian driver's licence and own vehicle

1. • Own reliable vehicle for transport to customer premises across Metro Melbourne

• ABN or ability to invoice as a contractor

Highly regarded — these will give you an edge:

• Experience with cloud phone platforms ( Teams Voice, or similar VoIP/SIP systems)

• Microsoft 365 setup and basic administration — Exchange, Teams, OneDrive

• Cybersecurity fundamentals — endpoint protection Fortinet, Sophos, or similar

• Experience migrating customers from legacy PABX to cloud phone systems

• Familiarity with PoE switches, patch panels, and structured cabling standards
