Irizar Asia Pacific is seeking an experienced ICT Support Technician to join our team on a full-time basis at our Melbourne office. Reporting to the Finance Manager, you'll play a key role in supporting the day-to-day performance of our ERP and finance systems, helping our teams work efficiently and accurately while we transition from our long-established BAAN platform to the new Infor LN ERP system.

Duties & Responsibilities

•      Provide day-to-day user support for BAAN and related finance systems used within Irizar AP’s finance and administrative functions, escalating more complex issues where required.

•      Conducting diagnostic tests and troubleshooting ERP application faults, resolving incidents or escalating where required

•      Responding to user service requests and first-line ICT incidents from finance, procurement and operations staff

•      Answering user enquiries relating to ERP functions, system access and process workflows, and providing hands-on guidance

•      Assisting in the testing of software updates, patches and new system configurations, and documenting test outcomes

•      Supporting the testing and implementation of new technology, including active participation in the Infor LN ERP transition project

•      Maintaining accurate documentation of operational activities, including issue logs, resolution records and system procedures

•      Performing data checking and validation to ensure accuracy and integrity of records held within the ERP system

•      Assisting finance staff with month-end and year-end close processes, including ERP queries, reconciliations and report generation

•      Providing informal guidance and training to ERP users on standard system functions and best-practice workflows

•      Liaising with external ICT vendors and system providers to coordinate issue resolution and scheduled system updates

•      Performing basic maintenance of computer hardware and peripherals to support day-to-day operational needs

•      Carrying out other ICT support duties as reasonably required

Skills, Experience & Qualifications

•      Experience working with BAAN or a comparable ERP system in finance, administration or operations environment.

•      Demonstrated ability to monitor system performance, run diagnostic tests and troubleshoot ICT applications

•      Experience responding to user service requests and answering ICT-related enquiries in a professional and timely manner

•      Ability to assist with user acceptance testing (UAT), document test outcomes and support new technology rollouts

•      Competence in maintaining operational records, issue logs and technical documentation

•      Familiarity with finance system workflows such as accounts payable, general ledger and month-end processing

•      Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail

•      Clear and professional communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users

Hours, Salary & Conditions

•      Full-time position based at our Melbourne, Pakenham office

•      Standard hours Monday to Friday, 38 hours per week

•      Salary: $80,000 per annum, in line with skills, experience and applicable industrial instruments
