Solution Architect – IMS (Mobile, Fixed & PaCo)

We’re seeking an experienced Solution Architect – IMS with deep expertise across Ericsson IMS, spanning Mobile, Fixed, and PaCo (Packet Core) domains. This role suits someone who thrives in complex telco environments and enjoys leading end‑to‑end solution design for next‑generation communication services.

About the Role

As the IMS Solution Architect, you’ll lead the architecture and design of converged communication solutions across mobile and fixed networks. You’ll work closely with customers, technical teams, and stakeholders to define solution strategy, integration approaches, and migration plans. You’ll also support VoLTE, VoWiFi, VoNR, and advanced communication services while ensuring alignment with Ericsson standards and customer requirements.

Key Skills & Experience

• 8+ years in IMS solution architecture

• Strong background in IMS Architecture & design

• Expertise in VoLTE, VoWiFi, VoNR

• Experience with Fixed Voice & converged communication solutions

• Solid understanding of Packet Core (EPC / 5GC)

• Protocol knowledge: SIP, Diameter, RTP, DNS, ENUM

• Experience in network transformation & modernisation

• Strong customer‑facing solution design capability

• End‑to‑end solution integration & troubleshooting
