We are seeking an experienced Solution Architect to support a large-scale Microsoft 365, privacy, data protection and AI enablement initiative within a complex public sector environment.

This role will focus on supporting the safe, compliant and effective adoption of Microsoft 365 Copilot and broader Microsoft domain capabilities, ensuring privacy, governance, security and data hygiene requirements are properly considered before deployment.

You will work closely with senior stakeholders, technical teams, governance groups and operational business areas to design practical architectural solutions that support responsible use of emerging AI tools.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead solution architecture activities for a Microsoft 365 / Copilot readiness and enablement program.
• Support privacy, data hygiene and security uplift activities across a complex enterprise environment.
• Translate business, governance and technical requirements into clear solution designs.
• Work with stakeholders to assess readiness for safe and compliant use of Microsoft 365 Copilot.
• Provide architectural guidance across Microsoft 365, data protection, information governance and AI adoption.
• Support project teams with solution options, risks, dependencies and implementation considerations.
• Engage with senior business, technical and governance stakeholders to drive alignment.
• Ensure architecture decisions support strong accountability, compliance and operational outcomes.

Skills & Experience you will bring:

• Proven experience as a Solution Architect in large, complex enterprise or government environments.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft 365, including Microsoft 365 Copilot or related AI-enabled productivity tools.
• Experience with privacy, data governance, information protection, security and compliance.
• Ability to work across complex stakeholder environments with multiple business units and governance frameworks.
• Strong communication skills, including the ability to simplify technical concepts for non-technical audiences.
• Experience supporting digital transformation, AI enablement or enterprise technology uplift programs.
• Strong adaptability and confidence working in emerging or ambiguous technology areas.

Highly Regarded

• Experience in healthcare, government or other highly regulated environments.
• Exposure to enterprise AI governance, Microsoft Purview, information management, cyber security or data classification.
• Previous experience supporting Microsoft 365 Copilot readiness, deployment or adoption.
