Head of AI Product l Sydney l Perm role

We are working with a leading Australian organisation to appoint a Head of AI Product who will define and execute an ambitious AI product strategy across a large, complex business.
This is a rare opportunity to lead the development of next-generation AI capabilities, with a particular focus on Agentic AI, intelligent automation, and customer and business transformation initiatives. You'll work closely with executive leadership and cross-functional teams to bring innovative AI products from concept through to delivery and adoption.

The Opportunity:

• Develop and own the organisation’s AI product vision, roadmap, and strategic direction.
• Lead the design and implementation of Agentic AI solutions that drive measurable business outcomes.
• Partner with senior executives and key stakeholders to identify opportunities for AI-enabled transformation.
• Build and mentor a high-performing product team while fostering a culture of innovation and experimentation.
• Collaborate closely with engineering, data, design, commercial, and operational teams to deliver scalable AI products.
• Evaluate emerging technologies and ensure the organisation remains at the forefront of AI innovation.
• Balance commercial priorities, customer needs, governance, and technical feasibility when making product decisions.

Requirements:

• Proven experience leading AI product strategy and delivery within a large enterprise, commercial, or retail environment.
• Strong expertise in Agentic AI, autonomous systems, or advanced generative AI applications.
• A track record of building and scaling innovative digital or AI-powered products.
• Exceptional stakeholder management skills, with experience influencing C-suite executives and senior business leaders.
• Experience leading and developing high-performing product teams.
• Strong commercial acumen and the ability to translate emerging technology into tangible business value.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to bridge technical and non-technical audiences.
