The Role
  
We're partnering with a large enterprise organisation undertaking a major business systems transformation and are seeking an experienced Solution Architect to join a high-profile project team on an initial 12-month contract.

This role will see you providing architectural leadership across the implementation of a new enterprise platform, working closely with business stakeholders, delivery teams, implementation partners, and technology leaders to ensure the solution is secure, scalable, supportable, and aligned with organisational standards.
  
What You'll Be Doing

• Define and document end-to-end solution architecture across current, transition, and future-state environments.
• Translate business requirements into practical architecture guidance, technical specifications, and design artefacts.
• Lead architecture discussions across application, integration, security, data, reporting, and operational support domains.
• Provide oversight and assurance across integration design, information flows, and system dependencies.
• Collaborate with cyber security, identity, data, reporting, and project delivery teams to ensure solution alignment.
• Support design, build, testing, cutover, transition to support, and early-life operations activities.
• Produce architecture documentation, solution diagrams, decision records, and technical design artefacts.
• Participate in architecture governance forums and design reviews.

About You
  
We're looking for a Solution Architect who can confidently bridge the gap between business outcomes and technical delivery.

You'll bring:

• Demonstrated experience delivering solution architecture across complex enterprise projects.
• Strong knowledge of enterprise applications, integrations, data flows, reporting, security, and operational support models.
• Experience designing and governing integrations within Azure-based environments.
• Experience translating business requirements into solution designs and technical specifications.
• Excellent stakeholder engagement skills across business and technical teams.
• Strong documentation and architecture modelling capability.
• Experience supporting projects through the full delivery lifecycle, from design through to transition and support.
• Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Highly Regarded
  
Experience in any of the following will be advantageous:

• Azure integration and cloud-native architecture experience.
• SaaS platform implementations and vendor-delivered solutions.
• Project Portfolio Management (PPM) platforms.
• Enterprise reporting, analytics, and data integration environments.
• Utilities, infrastructure, engineering, construction, or other asset-intensive industries.
