The Opportunity We’re partnering with a key government department seeking a Data Quality Assurance & Governance Lead to drive enterprise-level data quality and governance initiatives.
This is a critical role focused on establishing and enforcing data quality frameworks across hybrid environments, ensuring data integrity, compliance, and trust in decision-making.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Lead the design and implementation of data quality assurance frameworks and governance models
• Define and enforce data standards, policies, and controls across the organisation
• Implement data profiling, validation rules, and exception handling processes
• Establish monitoring and reporting mechanisms to ensure ongoing data quality and compliance
• Work across hybrid data environments (on-prem and cloud) to ensure consistency and integrity
• Collaborate with business, data, and technology stakeholders to uplift data governance maturity
• Drive remediation strategies for data issues and improve data lifecycle management
• Support regulatory and compliance requirements within a government context

What You Bring

• Proven experience leading data quality assurance and governance initiatives
• Strong hands-on expertise in data profiling, validation frameworks, and exception management
• Experience working across hybrid data environments
• Strong understanding of data governance frameworks, policies, and compliance standards
• Ability to engage and influence stakeholders across business and technical teams
• Experience within government or highly regulated environments

Mandatory Requirement

• Active NV1 Security Clearance (essential)
