Solution Architect - Project Portfolio Management Replacement

Are you a highly skilled Solution Architect looking for a pivotal role in a major technology and business change initiative? We are seeking an experienced professional to lead the architecture for an enterprise-wide transition from Project Server to Planisware. If you are passionate about translating complex business requirements into robust technical solutions and want to make a significant impact on an organisation's future project management capabilities, this 12-month contract is an excellent opportunity to showcase your expertise.

What You Will Do:

• Define and document the end-to-end solution architecture (current and future state) for the replacement PPM platform, ensuring it is secure, supportable, and fit-for-purpose.

• Act as the primary conduit between the project team, implementation partners, and business stakeholders, translating requirements into clear technical specifications.

• Design and define integration pathways between the new PPM solution and existing enterprise systems, including SAP, Snowflake, Power BI, and Microsoft collaboration tools.

• Collaborate with cyber security and identity teams to ensure robust authentication, authorisation, and auditability requirements are integrated into the design.

• Provide architecture leadership throughout the project lifecycle, including supporting testing, data validation, cutover planning, and the transition to operational support.

What You Need to Apply for This Role:

• Proven experience delivering solution architecture for complex, large-scale enterprise business system implementations.

• Strong technical background across integration, data, reporting, non-functional requirements, and SaaS/vendor constraints.

• Exceptional stakeholder management skills with the ability to communicate technical concepts clearly to diverse audiences, including delivery teams and business stakeholders.

• Comprehensive understanding of enterprise integrations, system dependencies, and information flows.

• Demonstrated ability to produce high-quality architecture documentation, including design specifications, decision records, and target-state diagrams.
