About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Dynamics 365 F&O Functional Consultant with hands-on capability across the Power Platform and Dynamics 365 Customer Engagement (CE). This is a client-facing role spanning presales support, solution design, implementation delivery, and ongoing advisory. You will work across a range of active client engagements, contributing functional expertise across core F&O modules while also driving configuration, automation, and integration work using the Power Platform.

You will collaborate with internal delivery teams, architects, and client stakeholders to translate business requirements into scalable Dynamics 365 solutions, and play an active role in shaping how we deliver across our growing F&O and CE practice.

Key Responsibilities

• Engage directly with business stakeholders to elicit, document, and validate requirements across finance, supply chain, and operations

• Facilitate workshops, fit-gap analysis sessions, and process walkthroughs with client teams

• Configure and customise Dynamics 365 F&O to meet business requirements across core modules including GL, AP, AR, Fixed Assets, and Procurement

• Develop and extend CE solutions including custom entities, business rules, plugins, and Power Platform integrations

• Design and build Power Automate flows and model-driven apps that integrate with F&O and CE environments

• Support presales activities including solution scoping, effort estimation, demo preparation, and proposal writing

• Collaborate with architects and delivery leads to produce functional and technical design documentation

• Provide hands-on support across data migration, UAT, cutover, and go-live activities

• Deliver knowledge transfer and post-implementation support to client teams

• Contribute to practice development including methodology, templates, and internal capability building

Functional Skills – Must Have

Business Engagement

• Proven experience working closely with business stakeholders and subject matter experts across finance and operations functions

• Skilled at translating business processes into Dynamics 365 solution designs with minimal hand-holding

• Comfortable leading workshops, facilitating requirements sessions, and managing client expectations

• Experience producing functional design documentation, process maps, and UAT artefacts

Dynamics 365 F&O

• Minimum 3 years of hands-on F&O consulting experience across full lifecycle implementations

• Strong functional depth across Financial Management including GL, AP, AR, Fixed Assets, Budgeting, and Cash and Bank

• Experience configuring chart of accounts, financial dimensions, and legal entity structures

• Familiarity with data migration approaches, cutover planning, and UAT facilitation

• Understanding of F&O security model, workflows, and approval frameworks

Dynamics 365 CE Development

• Hands-on development experience within the Dynamics 365 CE platform including plugin development, custom workflows, and JavaScript web resources

• Ability to design and build model-driven apps and configure Dataverse entities, relationships, forms, and views

• Experience with Power Automate including complex flows, custom connectors, and integrations between CE, F&O, and external systems

• Working knowledge of Dataverse security model including roles, field security profiles, and team ownership

• Exposure to CE modules such as Sales, Customer Service, or Field Service

Technical Skills – Nice to Have

• Experience with X++ development or ability to produce functional specifications for X++ developers

• Familiarity with Dual-write, virtual entities, or F&O-Dataverse integration patterns

• Exposure to Azure Integration Services or Logic Apps for enterprise integration scenarios

• Power BI report development or experience working alongside BI teams on embedded analytics

• Microsoft Certified: Dynamics 365 Finance Functional Consultant Associate or equivalent

• Exposure to Copilot and AI-assisted features within the Power Platform and Dynamics 365

Presales Experience

Presales experience is highly regarded. We are looking for someone who can contribute meaningfully to client pursuits, not just delivery. This includes:

• Participating in discovery and scoping conversations with prospective clients

• Contributing to proposal and statement of work preparation

• Building and delivering demos tailored to client business processes

• Supporting commercial estimation and solution design during the bid process
