·    Production Python backend services and platform foundations

·    Evidence graph, provenance, audit trails and report generation

·    Agentic Systems, Graph RAG, LLM Integrations (Gemini, OpenAI, Claude, Etc.)

·    Data infrastructure intergations (Neo4), MongoDB, Postgres, Ollama, Etc.)

·    Authentication and authorisation integration layer

·    Managed Cloud based SaaS and Enterprise / on-prem product strategies

·    Testing, observability, reliability and engineering standards

WHO WE NEED

A principal-level engineer or architect who has built real systems, not demos. Someone who can turn ambiguity into service boundaries and AI possibility into governed reliability.

·    Deep Python backend knowledge

·    Strong taste for clean code and architecture

·    Experience with AI, GraphRAG, data platforms, identity or regulated industries

·    Ability to reason across product risk, data boundaries and future scale

·    Clear communication without theatre

Early enough to shape architecture, standards, technical culture and the first enterprise deployment pattern.

Melbourne preferred while the team forms; strong Australian-time-zone candidates considered. Compensation calibrated to capability and impact. Equity participation subject to agreed terms.
