About the Role
Palisades is partnering with a Federal Government client to engage an experienced Senior Windows Engineer to support mission-critical infrastructure environments. You will be responsible for designing, deploying and maintaining enterprise Windows platforms in highly secure and complex operating environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and operate Windows server platforms including Active Directory, DNS, PKI, RDS and WSUS

• Design, test and deploy new Windows OS builds and maintain system images

• Integrate VMware environments and support virtualised infrastructure

• Implement and manage security tools, configurations and MFA integrations

• Automate server provisioning and configuration tasks

• Manage backup, recovery processes and system health monitoring

• Troubleshoot complex Windows infrastructure issues and lead remediation efforts

• Support server migrations and infrastructure uplift initiatives

Key Skills & Experience

• Strong experience designing and deploying enterprise Windows environments

• Deep understanding of Windows security and associated tooling

• Experience with virtualisation platforms (VMware)

• Proven capability in systems design, installation and lifecycle management

• Strong problem management and troubleshooting skills

• Experience working in secure or regulated environments

Mandatory Requirements

• Current TSPV Security Clearance

• Ability to work onsite in SA (Edinburgh)

• Willingness to undergo organisational suitability assessment
