We're seeking an experienced Programme Architect to play a pivotal role in one of Australia's most significant technology transformation programs.

This role sits at the centre of a large-scale modernisation initiative involving the replacement of core ERP, retail, workforce, and customer platforms. Working across multiple concurrent programs, you will lead the architecture and design decisions that enable independent delivery while ensuring a cohesive future-state technology landscape.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the architecture strategy across multiple transformation programs.
• Define enterprise integration patterns, master data strategies, and target-state architectures.
• Establish cross-program architecture principles, standards, and governance.
• Design transition-state and coexistence architectures across legacy and future platforms.
• Drive end-to-end business process design across ERP, retail, workforce, and customer domains.
• Facilitate architecture decision-making forums and design authority reviews.
• Provide technical leadership to architects, delivery teams, vendors, and systems integrators.
• Manage cross-program dependencies, risks, and architectural decisions.

About You
You will bring:

• 12+ years' experience in Enterprise, Lead, Principal, or Programme Architecture roles.
• Experience leading architecture on large-scale, multi-program transformation initiatives.
• Strong knowledge of enterprise integration, API-led architecture, event-driven design, and data architecture.
• Experience with SAP S/4HANA, SAP ECC, or other large enterprise platforms.
• Strong understanding of architecture governance and design authority processes.
• Ability to influence senior executives, delivery teams, and external partners.
• Excellent communication, stakeholder engagement, and documentation skills.

Desirable Experience

• Retail, pharmacy, healthcare, or other highly regulated environments.
• Point-of-sale, loyalty, payroll, workforce management, or warehouse management systems.
• TOGAF or equivalent architecture certification.
