We are seeking an experienced Contract Analyst to support a major, high-profile transport technology program currently moving through a critical delivery phase.

This role will suit someone with strong experience in complex, high-value contract environments, particularly where supplier performance, contract variations, commercial analysis, reporting and stakeholder management are central to successful delivery.

You will work closely with a broader multidisciplinary team across project, finance, procurement, operations, engineering and systems functions. The environment is fast-paced, commercially complex and highly visible, so resilience, attention to detail and the ability to work flexibly across boundaries will be essential.

Key responsibilities You will be responsible for supporting best-practice contract management activities, including:
  • Drafting complex contractual correspondence, notices and supplier communications
  • Managing ongoing supplier contract obligations, including insurance, performance bonds, subcontractor approvals, escrow and reporting
  • Maintaining contract registers, dashboards and reporting tools
  • Analysing supplier variations, invoices, claims and contract payments
  • Supporting supplier performance management and operational contract advice
  • Conducting contract research, analysis and review of complex contractual issues
  • Monitoring contract milestones, risks, non-compliance and divergence from agreed obligations
  • Preparing reports, meeting papers and contract management documentation
  • Supporting financial processes such as accruals, journals and payment-related analysis
  • Assisting with contract compliance, transition to BAU operations and future contracting strategy
  • Building strong relationships with internal teams and external suppliers
About you You will bring:
  • Extensive practical experience managing complex, high-value contracts
  • Strong understanding of commercial contracts, operational contract management, processes and procedures
  • Experience analysing supplier variations, invoices, claims and payment processes
  • Ability to provide clear, practical contract advice in a complex project environment
  • Strong written communication skills, especially drafting formal contractual correspondence
  • Confidence working with senior stakeholders, suppliers and multidisciplinary teams
  • Strong data, financial and reporting capability
  • A resilient, resourceful and outcome-focused approach
Experience in ticketing, transport, technology, infrastructure, government or large vendor-led delivery environments would be highly regarded.

Working arrangements This role requires hybrid working, with a minimum of three days per week on site and the remaining days available remotely. The successful candidate must be available to commence as soon as possible and commit to the initial engagement period.

Minimum availability is 4 days per week, 8 hours per day.
