Description

Reporting to the Head of Cloud, Communications & Business Applications, you will own the cloud and platform strategy, driving architecture, security, reliability, automation and cost optimisation across the environment. You will lead a team of engineers, champion DevOps and Infrastructure as Code, and help establish scalable, secure and modern engineering practices.

Profile

You are a hands-on technical leader with extensive experience designing and operating enterprise-scale cloud environments. You have deep Azure expertise and a strong track record leading platform engineering, cloud transformation or DevOps initiatives. You will bring:

• Extensive experience across Cloud Engineering, Platform Engineering, Infrastructure or DevOps.
• Strong Azure architecture, security, networking and governance expertise.
• Experience leading engineering teams and uplifting technical capability.
• Proven success delivering cloud modernisation and automation initiatives.
• Strong stakeholder engagement and vendor management skills.
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code, CI/CD, observability and operational excellence.
• Exposure to AI-assisted engineering tools and modern cloud operations practices.
