Overview
 
A large enterprise organisation is seeking an Enterprise Architect to translate architectural direction into practical, reusable standards and patterns.
This role sits between architecture leadership and delivery teams, focused on producing clear, usable artefacts and ensuring they are formally adopted and applied across projects.

What you’ll do

• Develop architecture patterns and standards across cloud, integration, data and application domains
• Manage a backlog of architecture deliverables
• Facilitate review and endorsement cycles with technical stakeholders and governance forums
• Work closely with solution architects and technical leads to ensure practical application
• Support architecture governance and assurance activities
• Ensure standards are embedded into solution design and delivery practices

Tech environment

• Cloud platform (Azure preferred)
• Data platforms (e.g. Snowflake, SQL Server)
• Application development (.NET, Python)
• Enterprise systems (e.g. SAP)
• Low-code / automation platforms (e.g. Power Platform, SAP BTP)

What you’ll bring

• Enterprise or Senior Solution Architecture background
• Experience producing architecture patterns, standards or reference architectures
• Strong cloud and integration architecture knowledge
• Ability to influence senior technical stakeholders and drive endorsement outcomes
• Proven track record of getting architecture artefacts adopted in delivery
• Practical, delivery-focused mindset

Nice to have

• TOGAF or similar EA framework experience
• Experience building or maturing architecture standards libraries
• Background in Solution Architecture or Technical Lead roles
• ERP integration experience
• Low-code platform exposure
