About the Role
 
Hands-on Solution Architect role sitting between enterprise architecture and delivery teams. You’ll translate standards into practical solution designs and ensure they are actually implemented.
This is a delivery-focused role working from a prioritised backlog, not an advisory-only position.
 
What you’ll do

• Design end-to-end solution architecture aligned to enterprise standards
• Produce build-ready architecture artefacts
• Work from a managed backlog with defined priorities and timeframes
• Run design sessions with technical teams and stakeholders
• Present solutions through governance and architecture review forums
• Identify and escalate risks, dependencies, and design gaps early
• Contribute to reusable patterns and continuous improvement

What you need

• Strong Solution Architecture experience in enterprise environments
• Cloud architecture background (Azure preferred, others considered)
• Experience with APIs, integration patterns, and modern architectures
• Comfortable working directly with engineering/delivery teams
• Agile delivery experience (backlogs, sprints, commitments)
• Strong stakeholder engagement and facilitation skills
• Ability to produce detailed, implementable designs

Nice to have

• ERP / enterprise integration exposure
• Software engineering or technical lead background
• Experience building or improving architecture standards or frameworks
