F&O Pre-Sales Solution Architect

Solution Architect opportunity to join DXC's successful Microsoft Practice. We are seeking an experienced Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations Solution Architect with a strong background in pre-sales, solution shaping and customer engagement, combined with proven experience delivering successful end-to-end implementations.

This is a senior customer facing role suited to someone who can confidently engage executives, lead discovery workshops, shape winning solutions and then support or lead delivery across the full F&O landscape.


Role

You will play a key role in winning new business and expanding existing client relationships by designing compelling, practical and scalable Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations solutions. You will also remain closely connected to delivery, ensuring proposed solutions are realistic, achievable and aligned to best practice.

Responsibilities 

• Lead discovery sessions with prospective customers to understand business challenges, objectives and transformation goals
• Design end-to-end Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations solutions aligned to client needs
• Own solution architecture for bids, proposals, RFPs and presentations
• Prepare effort estimates, scope models, implementation approaches and commercial inputs
• Present solutions confidently to senior stakeholders including CFO, COO, CIO and business leaders
• Support sales teams in converting opportunities into signed projects

Delivery & Architecture

• Provide architecture leadership during project mobilisation and implementation phases
• Ensure proposed solutions are scalable, supportable and aligned to best practice
• Guide functional and technical consultants across streams
• Manage design authority, solution governance and architecture decisions
• Support risk mitigation, issue resolution and delivery quality assurance
• Bridge the gap between sales commitments and successful delivery outcomes

Experience Required

• Proven experience as a Solution Architect / Lead Consultant in Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations
• Strong pre-sales experience including bids, demos, proposals and solution shaping
• Proven delivery experience across multiple full lifecycle F&O implementations
• Broad cross-functional knowledge across Finance, Operations and Supply Chain
• Strong stakeholder engagement skills with senior executives and business leaders
• Commercial awareness including estimating, scope definition and deal support
• Ability to lead workshops, challenge requirements and advise strategically
• Strong communication and presentation skills
