We are seeking an experienced APS6 / EL1 Developer Team Lead to support a high-impact federal government program. This is a non-ongoing opportunity with extension options and strong potential for permanency.

You will lead a small team of developers while remaining hands-on across delivery, working closely with architecture, product, and delivery stakeholders.

Your new role

• Lead and mentor a team of developers across delivery cycles
  
• Provide technical direction and oversee code quality standards
  
• Contribute hands-on to design and development activities
  
• Collaborate with architects and product owners on solution design
  
• Manage priorities, risks, and delivery outcomes
  
• Support CI/CD, testing, and deployment practices
  
• Engage with stakeholders across business and technical areas
  

What you'll need to succeed

• NV1 clearance
  
• Demonstrated experience in a Developer Lead or Senior Developer role
  
• Strong background across modern software development stacks
  
• Experience delivering within Agile environments
  
• Ability to lead teams while remaining technically hands-on
  
• Strong stakeholder engagement across government or enterprise environments
  
• Experience working within secure environments
  

Technical

• Backend development across common enterprise languages (.NET, Java or similar)
  
• API and integration development
  
• Cloud platforms and DevOps tooling
  
• CI/CD pipelines and modern engineering practices
