We are seeking a Business Systems Administrator to administer, configure and continuously improve the core business applications that underpin service delivery across the group.

Reporting to the ICT Manager, you will be the internal functional and technical lead for our business-critical software, with a primary focus on the CRM/ERP platform. You will own how these applications are configured, secured and integrated, working closely with the business to translate operational needs into reliable, well-supported systems.

This is a hands-on role for someone who enjoys getting deep into an application, improving how it works, and being the person the organisation relies on when a platform needs to be understood, fixed or extended.

About the role

You will be responsible for the day-to-day administration, configuration and improvement of the group’s core business applications, ensuring they remain stable, secure and aligned to how the organisation actually works.

This includes configuring workflows and business rules, managing application-level security and access, leading integration and automation between systems, and acting as the senior escalation point when complex application issues arise. You will also lead requirements gathering, solution design and testing as the applications evolve.

Key responsibilities

  • Administer and configure the group’s core business applications, with primary focus on the CRM/ERP platform: workflows, forms, fields, permissions and business rules

  • Serve as the internal functional and technical lead for business-critical software supporting service delivery

  • Manage application-level security and role-based access, including segregation of duties

  • Design, build and maintain integrations and automation between business systems using the Power Platform, APIs and middleware

  • Lead requirements gathering, solution design, testing and user acceptance testing as applications change and improve

  • Act as the Level 3 escalation point for complex application incidents and problems

  • Maintain technical documentation, data dictionaries and configuration baselines

  • Coordinate application vendors and partners to deliver enhancements, patches and releases

  • Support improved data flow and reporting capability across the application portfolio

  • Contribute to service management practices, knowledge articles and continual improvement

  • Develop user guides and documentation to support adoption and self-service

About you

You are a capable, proactive applications professional who enjoys owning a platform end to end, configuring it, securing it, integrating it, and being the person who genuinely understands how it supports the business.

You will bring:

  • 5+ years’ experience as a senior application administrator, business systems administrator, functional consultant or solution architect

  • Strong hands-on configuration experience with a CRM and/or ERP platform

  • Experience designing and maintaining integrations and automation (Power Platform, APIs, middleware)

  • A track record across requirements gathering, solution design and user acceptance testing

  • Sound understanding of application-level security, role-based access and segregation of duties

  • Familiarity with ITIL v4 service management principles

  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to translate between business needs and technical solutions

  • The ability to work autonomously with strong prioritisation and a continuous-improvement mindset

  • Experience in aged care, disability, health or community services is highly regarded
