The Role:

This is an exciting opportunity for a Technical Business Analyst to join a fast-paced retail and eCommerce environment, driving enhancements across core business systems including POS, ERP, PIM and MDM platforms. Working closely with stakeholders across Retail, Supply Chain, Finance, eCommerce and Technology, you'll play a key role in delivering system improvements, integrations, and process optimisation initiatives. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys bridging the gap between business and technology while contributing to projects that enhance both operational efficiency and customer experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Engage with stakeholders across Retail, Supply Chain, Finance and eCommerce to gather requirements and translate business needs into practical technology solutions.
• Analyse business processes, workflows and data flows to identify opportunities for improvement and support solution design.
• Partner with technical teams to deliver system enhancements, integrations, and platform improvements aligned to business objectives.
• Coordinate and support testing activities, including UAT planning, execution and issue resolution.
• Assist with deployments, cutover activities and post-implementation support to ensure successful project outcomes.
• Collaborate with developers and architects to maintain data integrity, consistency and seamless system integration.
• Support data migration, validation and quality assurance activities across multiple platforms.
• Produce clear documentation, including user stories, process maps, business requirements, and technical specifications.
• Contribute to governance, change management and continuous improvement initiatives across the technology landscape.
• Proactively identify risks, efficiencies and opportunities to enhance business processes and system performance.

    
Skills & Experience

• Proven experience as a Business Analyst, ideally within retail, eCommerce, or another fast-paced customer-focused environment.
• Strong understanding of retail operations and systems, including POS, inventory management, product lifecycle, pricing and fulfilment processes.
• Experience delivering and enhancing enterprise technology solutions such as POS, ERP, PIM, or MDM platforms, with exposure to Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central highly regarded.
• Solid understanding of system integrations, APIs, EDI and data management processes.
• Demonstrated ability to gather, analyse and document business requirements using user stories, process mapping and functional specifications.
• Experience supporting testing activities, including UAT planning, execution and issue management within project delivery environments.
• Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across both business and technical teams.
• Exposure to tools such as Confluence, JIRA, Figma, Visio, or similar collaboration and documentation platforms is advantageous.
