About the role
We're on the hunt for an experienced Audio Visual Technician to join our technical team in Artarmon. This is a hands-on, varied role for someone who enjoys getting out on the tools, solving problems on site, and seeing a project through from the workshop to the customer's door.
No two days look the same. One day you'll be attending service calls across client sites, the next you'll be in the workshop building racks and staging equipment ready for deployment. You'll work closely with our AV trainees, sharing your knowledge and helping bring the next generation of technicians up to speed.
What you'll be doing
Working on project installations across enterprise client environments
Preparing, configuring and staging products ready for deployment
Building and wiring equipment racks to a high standard
Attending service calls at customer sites, diagnosing and resolving AV faults
Working alongside and mentoring AV trainees on site and in the workshop
What you'll bring
Minimum 2 years' experience in an Audio Visual technical commissioning role
Working knowledge of Crestron, Sennheiser, QSYS, Cisco, Microsoft Teams and Zoom
A good understanding of networking and IT is a definite plus
Strong troubleshooting and fault-finding skills
Competency with Microsoft 365 products
A reliable, professional approach and a genuine willingness to help your team and customers
A current Australian driver's licence
Able to pass a police check.
