About the role

We've just completed a major digital transformation and this is where the real work begins. We're looking for a Solution Architect who thrives in the discipline of keeping complex systems scalable, secure, and genuinely useful. You'll shape architecture decisions across application, data, and integration domains, working closely with product delivery and engineering teams from discovery through to go-live.

What you'll be doing

• Design scalable, secure application architectures that meet both business intelligence and transactional requirements

• Define integration architecture across a hybrid ecosystem, enabling seamless and secure data flow

• Collaborate with stakeholders to co-design technology solutions aligned to strategic direction

• Evaluate emerging products, patterns, and technologies and translate findings into actionable strategy

• Create and maintain solution design artefacts that are clear, current, and actually used by your teams

• Champion quality and consistency across architecture domains, promoting agile and incremental delivery practices

What we're looking for

• Demonstrated experience as a Solution Architect in a large, complex IT environment

• A track record of taking solutions from concept through to production

• Depth in at least two of: Application, Data, or Integration architecture and enough breadth to hold the conversation across all three

• Strong communication skills, able to articulate technical complexity to varied audiences

• A pragmatic mindset, you understand that the best architecture is one that can actually be delivered

• Experience working in Agile delivery environments

Desirable

• AWS Certified Solutions Architect

• Azure Administrator Certified

• TOGAF, or equivalent credentials
