A growing cyber security consulting practice is looking for a Senior Cyber Security Consultant to join their Brisbane team.

This role focuses on delivering Microsoft security and cloud security projects, helping clients design and implement secure Microsoft 365 and Azure environments. You’ll work across technologies such as Microsoft Defender, Sentinel and Purview, while also supporting organisations to align with cyber security frameworks including Essential Eight, ISO 27001 and NIST.

This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys hands-on Microsoft security engineering combined with consulting and advisory work on the path to a Security Architect.

Key Responsibilities:

• Implement and optimise security across Microsoft 365 and Azure environments
• Deploy and configure Microsoft security technologies including Defender, Sentinel and Purview
• Conduct security assessments and provide recommendations to improve client security posture

What We're Looking For:

• Experience securing Microsoft 365 and Azure environments
• Hands-on experience with Microsoft security tools
• Understanding of cyber frameworks such as Essential Eight, ISO 27001 or NIST
• Minimum 3+ years relevant experience (ideally from big 4 consulting or similar)
